Cleaning Up After the Holidays
Did you receive the gift that keeps giving? If you did, you’re probably one of few not left with a pile of crumpled wrapping paper and bows that just get trashed. Instead you were given a sustainable, 2 in 1 gift - a gift that was wrapped in The Flowering Gift Wrap from Little Kay Gardens.
This wrapping paper can be put back into the ground after it has wrapped a gift. Made from 100% recycled paper, wildflower seeds such as Red Coreopsis, Black-eyed Susan and Baby Snapdragon are embedded into the paper. Once unwrapped, this paper can be easily planted to grow beautiful flowers.
If your gift was wrapped in this flowering paper, be sure to plant to receive your second gift!

Spring 2011 Sneak Peek
If you are one who always shakes your gifts or rips the corner wrapping paper to take a peek at your present because you cannot wait to find out what it is, than you will love our Sneak Peek posts. Here we will debut a new, upcoming product that has not yet been introduced. You will be able to see and learn about these products before they hit the trade show rush.
Oblong Caycay Lamp
Swirly patterns of purple hues are inspired by the waves of Poseidon. Natural caycay shells layered inside-out on a tall, elongated lamp grace a room with oceanic beauty. The hand craftsmanship creates a work of art that calmly sits on a small table or a vanity. The long, French linen shade complements the tall shape and unique color. All held in place by a sweet caycay shell finial.

Decorating Ideas for the Holidays
Regardless of the spirit and excitement that surrounds the winter holidays, we all know that it can also be quite stressful. Decorating your home with festive and cheer is one of them. If you are concerned on how your in-laws, friends or even Santa will think of your holiday decorations, remember the following easy tips to transform a home.
NATURALS + COLOR
Using naturals are a great way to bring the outside in and bring warmth to your house.
Wind real or faux green garland on your dining table, looping between centerpieces and candleholders. Dress a banister, window, around doorways or swag on a mantel. A quick note for hosting holiday parties. Use artificial garland to ensure the long life of your decorations and on the day of your party snip sprigs of pine, balsam or other trees and plants to achieve the holiday smell of fresh garland.
Collect fallen pine cones and acorns and spray paint, dust or roll in glitter. Keep some plain for a nice balance of silver, gold and natural. Place in clusters or fill decorative jars with them. Quick and effortless.
Or, fill a clear glass container with rich, red cranberries then cluster natural branches in the container and add water. The water will magnify the cranberries nicely. This can also be used with clementines instead of cranberries and a floating candle. A beautiful combination of color and naturals.

Sex and the City 2
Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t the only one looking good on the big screen. Several showstoppers from Lazy Susan also made the filming of Sex and the City 2 and were looking fabulous! They definitely shined and sparkled and we hate to say it, but outdid most of the others.
They made all the cuts with flying colors and ended up decorating Charlotte’s apartment. No complaints here, with Charlotte’s classic and timeless style, we were ecstatic. We hope you saw the movie and noticed Charlotte’s chic decorating skills.
